A Solid Foundation For Success

In 1989, Paul Thompson founded Thompson Builders with the philosophy that high quality and competitive prices should go hand in hand. Over the years, we have built a solid reputation for delivering ambitious projects on schedule and under budget while emphasizing quality workmanship.

Originally concentrating on seismic retrofits and general construction, in the early years our team completed several projects for non-profit organizations. As our experience continued to broaden in scope, our emphasis shifted to the public works arena. We have been awarded numerous contracts for civic centers, parking structures, fire stations, schools, and libraries.

In the last fifteen years, we have also significantly expanded our expertise in building large-scale multifamily condominium buildings, educational facilities, infrastructure projects, healthcare facilities and much more.

Today, Thompson Builders completes roughly $150 million in contract work annually. Public and private sector clients throughout California continue to entrust Thompson Builders with increasingly larger and more complex projects.
